Jedward announce first Irish over 18’s show

Jedward are thinking of their older fanbase as they announced their first over 18’s show in Ireland.

Performing in front of a boozing audience, the 25-year-old brothers will take to Dublin’s Button Factory on March 24 – but won’t be having a drink themselves.

“Our fans have all grown up with us and now they want a drink,” Edward said.

“We won’t be drinking ourselves but if our fans want to have a pint – well, we got to let them.”

Although catering to their older fans, younger Jedward lovers, who had hoped to attend their rare performance, sadly won’t gain entry to the venue because of their age.

“We know a lot of our fans won’t be able to get in but we have to cater for the older ones who can,” John told the Sun.

The twins revealed they will perform six brand new songs – accompanying themselves on guitar.

The Dubliners, who are currently in the US, admitted they picked up some tips on playing live from ex Beatle Paul McCartney who they met at the Grammys last week.
